Pastor/Elder
Steve Gee
Steve grew up as the son of a Korean immigrant pastor and a hard-working mother from Pennsylvania. After graduating from Messiah University, he travelled the country playing music during his twenties until, by the grace of God, he met his soon-to-be wife, Kristen.
Following a brief stint living in Nashville, TN, Steve and Kristen moved to Plano, TX, where he worked in design and marketing at RightNow Media. After starting a family, the Holy Spirit captured Steve's heart through James 4:14, and eventually led Steve to step into a role as a Missions Pastor at his local church.
In 2016, Steve, Kristen, and their three young children moved to Vancouver, BC, to serve with the North American Mission Board as the teaching pastor at a legacy church in the city.
At the end of 2018, Steve and Kristen accepted the invitation to move back to the States to plant a new church in a growing area of central Mississippi. Redemption held its first services as a church at the beginning of 2020, eight weeks before the pandemic shut the doors for four months. By the continued grace of God, Redemption Church of Madison County persevered through its difficult beginnings and has enjoyed the work of God in and through His Word.
In 2025, Steve and Kristen had the joy of officially adopting their sweet foster child, and now have the wonderful stewardship of four children ages 14, 13, 11, and 3.
