Mya Bell grew up in Madison, MS, with her mom Joanne Bell and three siblings, Antonetta, Antonio Jr., and Joshua, and she is grateful to have such a beautiful family.

At age twelve, Mya accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at sixteen the Lord called her to Ministry in Worship Leadership.

Mya attended Mississippi School of The Arts her Junior and Senior year in high school and graduated in May of 2021. While there, she was able to share the Gospel with her peers as well as lead a Gospel choir. She also started Mya Bell Photography, and she used that as an opportunity to get to know her classmates more and build community.

She went on to attend William Carey University on a Music Scholarship and graduated August of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus on Worship Leadership.

While attending William Carey, Mya did mission work across the state and globally, leading worship in Kenya, The Czech Republic, and the Dominican Republic.

Mya is beyond blessed and grateful for the Lord’s work in her life. His faithfulness is never ending. She is grateful and always in awe of how the Lord uses her at Redemption Church.
